Who Are we

MELANATED is a media platform created to amplify, protect, and archive Black voices.
We exist to tell our stories — honestly, boldly, and on our own terms.

In a media landscape where Black narratives are often overlooked, reshaped, or erased, MELANATED creates space for authentic representation, cultural ownership, and meaningful conversations. We highlight perspectives from the Black community across culture, identity, creativity, and social realities — in the Netherlands and beyond.

This is more than visibility.
This is about recognition, preservation, and power.
